General Maurice Rose
General Maurice Rose
General Rose was born on November 26, 1899. During World War II he served with the 1st Armored Division and the 2nd Armored Division. Promoted to Major General in 1944, he assumed command of the 3rd Armored Division. While in command of the 3rd AD, he was Killed-In-Action on March 30, 1945. Rose was the highest ranking officer killed in the European Theater during World War II.
