General Maxwell Taylor
General Maxwell Davenport Taylor
General Taylor was born in Missouri on August 26, 1901. In World War II, he became the commander of the 101st Airborne Division and he jumped with his Division on D-Day. Taylor remained in command of the 101st until the end of the war in Europe. He died April 19, 1987.
