General James Van Fleet
General James Alward Van Fleet
General Van Fleet was born in New Jersey on March 19, 1892. During World War II, Van Fleet commanded the 8th Infantry Regiment leading it on the D-Day landings on Utah Beach in Normandy France. He died September 23, 1922.
